The river is a great place to spend those hot summer days, but what is even better is being able to do so with your friends. However, getting a group of friends together to go rafting can be challenging. When first thinking of going on a river outing, you need to pick a date. For large groups, the best way to do so is to create a Google calendar with three possible dates for your river adventure. From there you can gage when the best day for your group is. Once a date is settled, you then need to confirm the amount of people going.
Once you have a handle on who all is going you then can decide what type of trip you want. Do you want an exhilarating rafting trip with plunging drops and holes? Once you float downstream how will you get shuttled back up to your car? Typically, a 14ft raft will fit six paddlers, but maybe some people want to raft and others want to use SUPs.
