Nightlife in Breckenridge
Along the Tenmile Range, Breckenridge is known for its 2,908 skiable acres located just an hour west of Denver. With endless runs to ski during the day and the sun setting earlier in the evening, getting out at night is a great way to meet friends to hit the slopes with the next morning. Main Street is almost a mile long with over 30 restaurants, bars and pubs within that distance. The main stretch is also lined with historic buildings dating back 100+ years. While this ski town has endless amounts of activity, the night life gets a little crazy starting around this time of the year. Here are some of the best nightlife places to go while in Breckenridge.
Cecilia’s Night Club, located towards the end of Main Street, is open only in the evenings until after midnight. Cecilia’s is one of Breck’s only night clubs that has three bars and a dance floor. Is dancing not your forte? Hang out and devour some of their famous 2 for 1 martinis during happy hour or take a look at the cigar collection they have behind closed doors. Cecilia’s is perfect for private party options or just getting everyone together and letting loose. You’ll find a lot of locals here almost every night this winter.
Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub smack dab in the middle of town is another late night bar with great DJ’s playing on the weekend and local deals. For the women, ladies night happens every Friday night 9:00 – 11:00 with free drinks! Whether you’re looking for a spot to grab a few beers and shoot some pool or watch your favorite football team on the big screen, Napper’s is where it’s at.
On the northern and more quiet side of Breckenridge sits Blue River Bistro. Their late night happy hour and live music are a great attraction to all ages of people. Enjoy some of their unique cocktails and 2 for 1 appetizers from 9:00 – midnight any night of the week.
The Motherloaded Tavern is a popular apres drinking establishment as well, especially with something going on every night of the week. Between live music on Fridays and Saturdays, “Estrogen Hour” every Sunday and Thursday, open mic nights and Trivia Tuesdays, MLT is always hoppin’.
If you’re one that just wants to shoot some billiards and hang out, Brooklyn’s on the south side of Main Street is most locals go-to. In the past, Brooklyn’s has been dubbed one of the only true pool halls in Summit County. Going on it’s 8th year of business, this bar seems to be sticking around Breckenridge for quite some time. With the bar being on the upper floor and five pool tables and a foosball table in the lower portion of the building, you don’t need to be playing games to enjoy Brooklyn’s!
