Colorado River Rentals is located in Kremmling, Colorado and the closest rivers are the Colorado River and the Eagle River. The Colorado River offers two very different experiences– the expert terrain and rapids of Gore Canyon and the Upper Colorado section of mostly flat water with a couple of rapids thrown in there. The Eagle River starts in Vail and offers two sections as well; Dowd Chutes and the Lower Eagle.

Other rivers that are popular nearby are the Arkansas River, Blue River, Clear Creek and even the Animas in Durango. The Blue River is located in Silverthorne, CO and offers a rocky but wild rafting experience in the spring runoff. The closest and  most popular section of the Arkansas River is called Browns Canyon. Browns Canyon offers classic class two and three rapids and was just named as a National Monument. Clear Creek is a rough and tumble river located in Idaho Springs, CO. This river is best rafted with paddlers and not an oar frame due to it’s tight width. Last but not least, the Animas offers some different scenery and fun rapids in the southern part of the state.
