If you’re not quite sure what you want to do, talk with one of our staff and we can help you figure out the perfect river trip for you and your group. Whether you are ready to book or looking for guidance, our staff would be happy to help you figure out the details of your trip so you can have the best experience possible.

Rental Gear for your Colorado Whitewater Rafting Trip

The next thing you want to think about is what gear you’re going to need on your trip. We have everything you could possibly need for a half day, a full day, or an overnight trip. Not sure what you need? Our knowledgeable staff can assist you with trip planning if you feel like you’re missing something. For a half day or full day trip, the necessities are pretty simple – raft, paddles, PFDs, maybe a wet suit and you’re pretty much set. Things get a lot more complicated for overnight trips. One of the biggest things people forget about is a toilet (or groover). Everything is pack in, pack out and leave no trace, so this is an important detail to plan for. Respecting the river and the area is one of the most important things you can do. Luckily for you, we have groovers available for rent and offer to dispose of the contents for a fee as well. Having the proper clothing and sleeping equipment is also important, as rafting doesn’t tend to be much fun if your freezing the whole time.

Pick Up or Drop Off

Head to Colorado River Rentals’ Kremmling outpost to pick up your raft, or we can bring it to your put-in spot on the river for a little extra. Pumphouse and Radium are the most popular drop off points close to our outpost and will take you along the Upper Colorado River. These milder rapids and scenic views allow you to enjoy your family time on the water. If you’re worried about your car, Colorado River Rentals will move your car from put in to take out point for a small fee. This is really the only hold up for those wanting their raft equipment to be dropped off. If you do decide to pick the raft up from us, you have more flexibility with where you put in and take out on the river. However, you then also have to inflate the raft, transport the raft, and make sure you have the other necessary gear before you hit the water. Colorado River Rentals makes the entire process easier with delivery, vehicle shuttles and full-service gear rentals. Book your whitewater raft gear rental with Colorado River Rentals today!
