Summer Events in Steamboat Springs and Kremmling 

Taking a summer vacation out to Steamboat Springs or Kremmling, Colorado this year? Then you are in for a treat! There are endless amounts of events taking place out here in the Rocky Mountains, but there are some in particular that you will not want to miss. Here are a few events to check out:

Steamboat Wine Festival: If you are a wine connoisseur, then you will not want to skip out on this event. There are more than 100 food artisans, breweries, distilleries, wineries and locally-made products at this tasty food and wine experience. The festivities begin Wednesday, August 10^th and will go through August 14^th. There will also be other events taking place throughout the weekend such as hiking, biking, painting, farm to table pairing and more! So don’t miss out!

Steamboat All Arts Festival: This is the 8^th annual all arts festival and the 2^nd year managed by the Steamboat Springs art council. The Steamboat All Arts Festival is taking place August 18^th-21^st. There are going to be art stations, seminars, live western melodrama, guided tours, lectures, creative mixology, a student film festival and fine art stroll, all taking place this summer!

Wild West Air Fest: 2016 marks the 12^th Annual Wild West Air Fest & Labor Day Celebration taking place September 3^rd and 4^th. It is known to be the best air show in the mountains! They will be featuring nationally renowned performers, performing thrilling aerobatics and formation flying. On top of the air show there will be warbirds and static aircraft displays, delicious food, vendors and fun for the entire family! You can even be part of the action and actually fly in the aircrafts! First come first serve, so make sure to get there early enough!

Steamboat Oktoberwest: Make sure not to miss out on the 8^th Annual Steamboat Oktoberwest! Come and enjoy Steamboat’s twist on Oktoberfest with Colorado Rocky Mountain Beer, food and festivities! It starts on September 16^th & 17^th. There will even be a Beer Stroll, Beer Garden and even a Beer Cook off!

Kremmling’s 100^th Annual Middle Park Fair & Rodeo: The Fair and Rodeo takes place August 6^th-14^th and has something for everyone! There will be dog shows, horse shows, 4-H shows, Junior Livestock Auction, Fair Dance, livestock judging, cookie and pie contests, BBQ, Chili Cook-off and of course some of the best live music around!

Kremmling’s Demolition Derby: It is a time to get Smashed in Ktown on August 20^th at 7pm! It is the most fun you will have watching trucks and cars wreck into each other! There will be concessions, a best themed car contest and even fireworks! It is one unforgettable experience, so make sure to check it out!
